Education Foundation of Lake County gives grants to local schools


LEESBURG — The Training Basis of Lake County not too long ago awarded greater than $13,000 in grant cash to assist 13 native faculty applications.

The cash will assist assist STEM, literacy and profession and technical schooling classroom applications, with the potential to impression greater than 1,400 college students.

“These grants permit Lake County educators better flexibility in incorporating progressive studying instruments to satisfy their college students’ wants,” Carman Cullen-Batt, Govt Director of the Training Basis of Lake County, stated in an announcement. “We’re particularly grateful for the efforts of the Lake County legislative delegation which has been our voice in serving to to make sure our district receives its share of the funding from the state legislature.”
