Throughout this years pandemic extra individuals have turn out to be reliant on foodbanks and one native foodbank have been given a beneficiant donation which can assist assist them over the festive season.

Hexham Freemasons have donated £500 to the West Northumberland Foodbank in Hexham, Northumberland.

The foodbank has been working since 2013 and helps individuals throughout Northumberland from Prudhoe throughout to the Cumbrian border and as much as Keilder, Bellingham and past.

Hexham Freemason Colin Readers offered the donation which included £200 from the Hexham Priory Lodge and £300 from Graham Reader Tyres within the
city.

Colin mentioned: “The foodbank does an amazing job, and everybody related to Hexham Freemasons appreciates the work they do for our group.”

The donation will make sure the foodbank can proceed to assist these they serve all through the festive season.
