PARKERSBURG — Each year during the holidays, the Camden Clark Foundation “Lighting the Way” campaign provides an opportunity for employees and residents of the community to purchase a luminary in honor of or in memory of someone close to them.
The annual event held in early December normally includes the hospital’s tree lighting celebration and a community reception.
In the past, the Foundation dedication ceremony was complete with musical entertainment to read the names of everyone being recognized. Due to restrictions imposed because of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, this year’s ceremony was virtually held and broadcast on Facebook at https://bit.ly/2IJfdG3.
The evening acknowledged special individuals and loved ones and memorialized those who have passed away. The tree and luminaries are displayed in the South Tower windows throughout the holidays.
