BROCKTON, MASS. (WHDH) – A South Shore nonprofit that helps hold folks fed branched out into garments as properly after the group’s president discovered an excellent deal.
Craig Hastings, president of Served Kitchen, heard a few sale on coats in Brockton, so he purchased 130 and can begin handing them out with vacation meals this week.
“To be trustworthy, our nonprofit is concentrated on meals waste and the hungry. However we knew that folks have been searching for some greater jackets and it’s going to get chilly out, so we knew it’d be an ideal form of collaboration to assist out,” Hastings stated. “Not solely can we feed folks and provides them a heat meal, however a heat jacket too.”
