GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – “Poyn-SETT-ah” or “poyn-SETT-ee-ah”? Irrespective of the way you pronounce it, gross sales of poinsettia flowers may gain advantage three Inexperienced Bay-area charities.
Beginning Saturday, Dec. 12, by Saturday, Dec. 19, Schroeder’s Flowers, 1530 S. Webster Ave., is donating $5 from each poinsettia sale to Paul’s Pantry, St. John’s Homeless Shelter, and the Salvation Military. The florist hopes to boost greater than $35,000.
The donations can be collected from every in-store sale of one-stem, 6½” pots or two-stem poinsettias. There are not any deliveries, and fantasy poinsettias aren’t a part of this profit.
Schroeder’s can also be providing a free 4″ poinsettia to first responders and the medical workers at Inexperienced Bay who cease by the shop and current their ID.
