The American Liver Basis elected Franklin resident Steve Baum to their nationwide board of administrators.
Baum, a resident of Franklin since 1986, obtained a twin liver and kidney transplant on Nov. 11, 2009, on the UA Birmingham Hospital. After serving on the group’s native board since 2013 — and vice chair since 2018 — he was requested to function a nationwide chief representing organ transplant recipients.
Professionally, Baum served as VP of operations, VP of promoting and regional VP with nationwide restaurant chains, together with Burger King, Golden Corral and Silver Greenback Metropolis.
