COVID-19 Illinois: Lake Barrington comfort dog handler with Lutheran Church Charities dies from coronavirus

LAKE BARRINGTON, Sick. (WLS) — A beloved consolation canine handler from Lake Barrington has died from issues of COVID-19.

Wealthy Martin and his spouse led a group of handlers and golden retrievers by the Lutheran Church Charities, who’ve responded to quite a few mass shootings and different tragedies.

Lutheran Church Charities president Tim Hetzner mentioned in a video assertion, “He traveled across the nation, coast to coast making preparations and coordinating our canine associates from throughout the county to reply to any disaster invite inside 24 hours of the invite, normally sooner.
