Man steals charity group’s donation jar in Creve Coeur, police say | News Headlines


CREVE COEUR ( — The Creve Coeur Police Division is trying to find a person who stole a donation jar from a charity group Saturday. 

The Bennett Venture arrange a donation desk outdoors of the Walgreens within the 10900 block of Olive Blvd round 1:30 p.m. when a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with Missouri plates of EB1F7W pulled up.

Police stated a person ran as much as the group and snatched the donation jar from the desk earlier than dashing off. 

Nobody was injured.

The suspect is described as a white man with a skinny construct and brown hair. Police stated there have been a number of individuals contained in the SUV through the theft.

The Bennett Venture was established in 2003 to honor Emily Dyall’s brother, who died of most cancers. Dyall and others have raised cash and performed toy drives to learn pediatric sufferers ever since.
