Catholic Charities hosts early Christmas meal for those in need


LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Catholic Charities hosted an early Christmas meal on Sunday for tons of of individuals in want throughout the Las Vegas valley.

Meals had been served in to-go type and ready by the Catholic Charities chef.

They had been sponsored by the Frank and Victoria Fertitta Basis, which is headed by the Fertitta household who owns Station Casinos.

“In instances like these, we wish to be sure that the people who we serve know we care about them. There are lots of people on the market who do care and so they wish to give them one thing particular,” stated Leslie Carmine, director of media and communications for Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.

Sunday’s meal included rigatoni with purple sauce, inexperienced beans and dessert. Roughly 1,000 individuals had been served a sizzling Christmas meal.
