Federick Ngo (Academic Psychology and Larger Schooling) printed a research with co-author Elizabeth S. Park (UC Irvine) within the journal Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis. Titled “The Impact of Developmental Math on STEM Participation in Group School: Variation by Race, Gender, Achievement, and Aspiration,” the research examines how developmental math placement impacts the enrollment in and completion of STEM programs amongst ladies, racially minoritized college students, college students with intensive STEM preparation in highschool, and college students with expressed STEM curiosity.
