TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Dispatchers with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Workplace are dressing down to boost consciousness and cash for charities.
The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Workplace says in a Facebook post that its dispatch has began elevating cash for a handful of foundations with a program that options “gown down days” all year long.
Based on the Sheriff’s Workplace, on Halloween, dispatchers had been allowed to decorate in costumes and on Thanksgiving they had been capable of put on their cozy pants for a small donation to this system.
Up to now, the Sheriff’s Workplace stated dispatch has raised round $200 for the Affiliation of Public Security Communications Officers Sunshine Fund and the Fallen Officer Child’s Christmas Fund for the native Fraternal Order of Police.
