NEW DELHI: The house ministry, in a bid to ease the transition of NGOs and associations to the new FCRA regime following current amendments to the International Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and guidelines, has put out an advisory for compliance relying on whether or not an NGO has already utilized for FCRA registration, prior permission or renewal or is but to submit the appliance.
As per the advisory issued on Friday, the three fundamental compliances that the NGOs and associations should meet following the most recent adjustments in FCRA, 2010 and International Contribution Regulation Guidelines (FCRR), 2011 relate to acquiring a DARPAN ID from Niti Aayog portal; opening the primary FCRA account in SBI Parliament Road department, New Delhi; and seeding Aadhaar particulars of all office-bearers or key functionaries.
