ORLANDO, Fla. — Some $20,000 in cash that vacationers tossed into Walt Disney World’s wishing wells and fountains turned a Thanksgiving reward for central Florida’s largest homeless shelter.
Allison Krall is the CEO of the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. She says she’s grateful, particularly with every part Disney has gone via throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
The cash have been dropped within the wishing properly at Cinderella’s Citadel, alongside the waterways of the “It’s a Small World” journey, and in fountains all through the native parks. Disney periodically collects and donates the cash.
The corporate additionally contributed Thanksgiving meals for the charity’s residents.
