Letter: Thanks for generous donations – Salisbury Post


Devoted Buddies Animal Sanctuary (a no-kill sanctuary for canines and cats right here in Rowan County) needs to thank the general public for his or her beneficiant contributions of aluminum cans at its six drop-off places.

With the general public and its nice “Can Group” volunteers pulling collectively, the recycling program has considerably enhanced Devoted Buddies’ capacity to meet its mission, which incorporates obligatory spaying and neutering of our animals whereas in search of their ceaselessly properties.

The West Finish Plaza drop-off has been relocated from Uptown Canines and Cats, at 2125 Statesville Blvd., to a close-by location between the previous Belk’s and Constancy Financial institution situated in West Finish Plaza.

We even have 5 different drop-off places that stay the identical. The VFW at 1200 Brenner Ave; Devoted Buddies Animal Sanctuary, 220 Grace Church Street; Critters Present Store, 125 South Principal St.; Backyard Greenhouse, 4070 Woodleaf Street; and Speedwash Laundromat, 1337, W Innes St.

As soon as once more, thanks to Jenn Sciortino, of Uptown Canines and Cats, for her previous help and we want her luck at her new location.

Our largest thanks go to the Rowan County group for donating and being our animals’ Devoted Buddies. Collectively, we’re saving lives.
