Lord Baltimore Women’s Club urges generosity | Letters to the editor

Editor:

As a part of its neighborhood outreach efforts, the Group Companies Committee of Lord Baltimore Ladies’s Membership (LBWC), headed by Mary Henry and Lisa Prisco, lately performed a “Fill the Trunk” meals drive.

Along with donations collected at month-to-month conferences, our membership stuffed 4 procuring carts with non-perishables, paper merchandise and family staples. All donations, together with grocery store reward playing cards, got to the Serving to Palms Meals Financial institution in Frankford.

LBWC members are happy with our persevering with generosity. As many households in our neighborhood battle throughout this troublesome time of financial hardship and the COVID-19 pandemic, we urge fellow residents to donate to native meals banks or church meals pantries for Thanksgiving or Christmas. As you enhance the spirits of native households there’s an excellent likelihood you’ll elevate your spirits, too.

Carolyn Pesce, President

LBWC
